but the sounds and meanings of these three words... hinky, hanky and kinky... tell another story...
that those things that the persona of the poem sees as 'invitations' are just some 'frictions'... a very usual phenomenon happening when two objects 'meet'...
suspicion is the first step in the procedure of understanding...

@Gerry It's a word I don't think I ever used before (in or out of poetry). I may have to tone down that background.
@hb If he throws caution to the wind, the sailing may not be calm, but it should be eventful :).
