love this! and it's so Persian... this theme is so recurrent in our mystical and love poems... when all caution is thrown in the wind... there is a beautiful word for this: /bee-parvaaee/
@Jenny Fireflies are among my favorite insects. We have plenty of them here (though I don't see as many as when I was a kid living in a more rural area). They still inspire a bit of magical thinking in me.

I like the succinct and essential about this one.
The firefly is an interesting creature. I have only seen them once; that was in a Slovakian forest when I was a 18 year grunge gal in the mid 90s.
