Thanks Nikki. Most of them follow the general structure of an anglicized haiku (5-7-5), but they're not purely so, which is why I tend not to name them anything.
fabulous! this sharp contrast is what makes this work so cutting! the image of knifing and severing normally brings forth tension... but here it brings comfort... as it separates us from tension...
Thanks for the info. I am going to look that up (the different types of a haiku). If you couldn't already tell by my work, I love to follow set up guidelines and rules when composing art/poetry:)
