Thin-fingered dawn ...

That's the name I came up with for this drawing, and it may become a line in my next poem (at least some variation of it). I'm a little hesitant to name abstracts, because it influences what others see in them. It's definitely a departure from the previous illustrations, as far as coloring. Thanks to all who commented on the last post. The majority verdict was "no" on Ad-sense, but "yes" on Helium and Project Wonderful.

It's a very thought provoking piece. And to ease you mind a little about the naming aspect: even if you left your pieces as "untitled" the viewer would still be influenced, just in a slightly different way.

I see withering petals, this is because of the color combination. I like blue more when you draw. This shows a different shade of your drawings. Brilliant.

The first thing that came to mind was a baseball mitt and then raw power.

@Wizard Thanks ... I appreciate the compliment.

@Daisy You're probably right, but maybe the best option is to make up a name that has nothing to do with the drawing just to keep everyone honest :).

@Jena I like blue too, but I think I may experiment with some yellows for a while.

@Kebelle You're welcome for the drops. Thanks for the mention. I enjoy the thoughtfulness of your posts. I'll do my best to keep the poetry and insights coming :).

@Hapi I'm happy (hapi?) to link you back.

@Cooper Thanks ... I see the mitt more than the power :).

@Manx I don't need a reason to think of lemon meringue pie :).

@Jakill Will do :).

@Leon It's going pretty well ... thanks for stopping by.
