A fishy gasp

Sometimes my drawings start out as very simple ideas (for example, a fish with mouth agape), but grow into something a bit monstrous. This is an illustration of the poetic phrase un pesce guizzante boccheggia (a darting fish gasps). As you can see, I got a bit absorbed in its complexities.

ha!
The poem is titled: "incubi di concupicenza".
This is a metaphor ...gasp=agape...
These were the dreams=nightmares of lust...
the woman was lying on the shore of the Sea....
that thrill!
Francis! under, out of this fish, I see a leg?

Ciao Hanna, I think there are a few human features hidden in the fish. It's a bit nightmarish and I hope a bit thrilling ;).

I don't know what it is, exactly, that draws me to this. I love looking at it, though. Do you sell your drawings? I would like this in my home.

Hi Kim. I haven't yet sold any of my drawings, but I have given a few away. I'm definitely open to selling them, and I'd love to see how they look framed and on a wall.
