Doodle Week: Setting Sun Flower

Another Doodle Week began yesterday, and here is my Day 1 drawing on the theme Sunflower — a day late. Unfortunately, with much real-world work to do and an impending trip to NYC in a couple days, I won't be a full participant in the week's festivities, but I'll pitch in what I can.

Totally beautiful. I find it difficult to objectively critique visual art, as I think I've said before, but I really enjoy your work. It glows.

As a side-note, this is the first time I've ever noticed your rather nifty signature! I'm still working on mine, I have an awkward name.

I like it, the abstoon is titillating my imagination. I'm hungry right now and I'm looking at a yummy piece of chocolate. (smiles)

You always come out with the best.

Cheers!

Hi Francis, I have tagged you at my Working Abroad blog.

I hope you won't mind I took the liberty to use your "setting of the sun flower" in this meme.

Thanks and more power.

@Fiendish Thanks. I'm glad you like both the art and signature ... I share the unwieldy name attribute, so the initial branding worked well. Good luck with yours ... I'm sure it will be quite distinctive.

@Jena I just posted a plant that might make for a nice salad, which is better for you than the chocolate :). Thanks for the tag ... I'll check it out shortly, but probably won't have a chance to participate until after I get home from New York on Monday.
