The theme for Doodle Week's Day Two is Outer Space. Astronomy isn't one of my strengths, so I offer up a crude rendering of a galaxy. Be fair warned: If you stare long enough at the center, you may lapse into a trance.
What fascinating art-work! (By the way, did you know that a Doodle Bug was a V1? That got you! A V1 was the miniature pilotless flying bomb dropped on England in WW2. It was much more lethal than your dear little creature!)
From that historic reference you will deduce that I'm elderly! But I'm still young at heart. I write a daily comment/journal in verse. Try it.
Hi Samantha and Mr. Tigger. I'm digging the cool doodles too. I'll have a garden doodle up soon, which may look more like home. Your pal in Chicago.
Hi Brenda. Thanks for the info about the "doodle bug." I didn't know that. Young at heart is the way to go. I'll be by to visit Rinkly Rimes ... it sounds like a great idea.
Anon, as long as you snapped out of the trance everything will be ok. Thanks for the visit.
JH and MM, keep up the doodling and by the end of the week you'll be a pro.

Oh, no! I think I statred into the center too long!
Ttttrance? I'm all s p a c e d out!
As always, another marvelous creation Franc!
It is The Eye of God! Somewhere in space is a parallel world... It's beautiful.
It does look like someone is staring back at me. We are not alone...
Happy doodling.
I think I've seen that before on NASA's website.
@WT4W No worries, the known side affects are temporary and rather pleasant.
@Stine Spacing out can be healthy every now and again :).
@Shearyadi I'm mutually appreciative of your doodling :). I just hope I can keep it up for 5 more days.
@Jena I'm a big fan of the concepts of parallel worlds. In one of them there's a version of me that's doing a much better job of managing things :).
@Haley Maybe it's the eye of someone peeping through a telescope on the other end :).
@Yummy Those pics on the NASA site are some real art. Mine is just a silly doodle by comparison :).
Where am we! Nothing looks familiar any more! Mooooooooooooom find us! We love all the cool doodles!
Your FL furiends,

Beautiful! I love the colors in this one. I'm partial to reds and burganies, but not today. These are my new favorite colors. Nice work!
It's an eye that stares back... Really good. But then, your stuff always is!
A galaxy in a single flower, a classic western meditation motif.
@Kathy Thanks. I've become very partial to blues lately, but I try to mix in some red every now and again.
@Catherine Thanks ... I'm glad you like the drawings. I'm going to need to take a break soon and get back to my writing.
@BC I may need to stare at my own drawing ... I could use some meditation. I mixed in some other vague symbols, but I think they're well hidden.
You are right about the trance, its very hypnotic.
Hi Claire,
It's all part of my sinister plan to conquer the blogosphere through art-induced thought control (insert evil laughter).
I like the colours in that. But it's kind of creepy looking, like layers of loose skin around an eye.
@Laura I guess that's the danger of using pink ... just think of it as the wrinkles of old age.
