Now that’s a real eye opener and poetically awe inspiring!

haha, It is surely an eye and rather frightening.

At first glance, I thought it was a pearl - "Pearl of the Orient"

When I looked closely that was the time I realized , it was indeed an eyes - the artist's magic pen.

Where is the continuation of your story? I am all agog of what will happen next - dying literally- and thinking about how the storyteller (you) would weave the intricate plot.

Thanks for sharing your talent, Francis.

I mean - AN EYE- sorry.

I'd agree cooper, an eye indeed.

I'm not sure I'd describe the blue as limpid, but I'm quite dense about that sort of stuff.

@Michelle I'm always glad to get your insightful comments :).

@Cooper It is a bit frightening, which makes it a good match for the story below.

@Jena I'm going to be a bit of a tease and only post chapters every few days. So, you'll have to wait a little longer for the next one.

@Tam Not dense at all. It is rather murky and mysterious, but I wanted to connect the title to a line from the story. I could also claim irony, but I'm not really that clever.

it seems to me a hamburger with squid...

Ha I saw a squid also Hanna. But, I am always usually so far off that I wasn't going to say anything.

Yes a squid with either a mouth or an eye.

So sorry I haven't been by the last couple of days Francis.

I have had signal problems and I am way behind on everything!!

An eye of a savage animal...?

I caught the "Belly" reference myself (rather smug about that, can you tell?)... This, too, strikes me as a little bit creepy. Kind of hypnotic-looking. I like.

@Hanna A squid reference is interesting because I was trying to conjure a watery look to tie back to the story. A hamburger wouldn't fit as nicely.

@Jackie No worries about not visiting. I appreciate you stopping by whenever you can. And there are no wrong answers when it comes to "seeing" things in the drawings.

@Fran It could be the eye of a man, who is probably the most savage of animals, or maybe something part-human. I'll accept all interpretations :).

@Fiendish Your smugness is well deserved :). If you see creepy and hypnotic, that's a perfect match for the character.

Thanks Francis, there are men who act with eyes like this one....but I don't wanna deal with them....Have a sweet afternoon!

Hi Francis, I'm still at the door waiting, ready to pounce at the next one.

Francis Scudellari said...

@Fran Yes, anyone with an eye like that should definitely be avoided. Have a great day too!

@Hanna That doesn't sound like a very appetizing panino, but I'm sure it tasted better than my drawing :). Are you tracking the captchas? Mine was jznbz.

@Jena I hope the next chapter will be up in the next day or so.
