Holes, Part III

by Francis Scudellari

Upward falling

De-voided self, focused inward, probing soft-scarred flesh,
Recent-closed holes, raised for healing,
Finger-tilled, rich-soiled
Emotion,
Dark, dense
Plots

Unfolding dramas, spot-lit, set on cavernous stage,
Storied structures, decomposed berths,
Consciousness-fed streams
Once again
Flowing
Whole

Ciao Hanna,
Nietzsche eh? I'm not familiar enough with his writing to know.

Thanks Ralph ... a good sign if it gets better with each reading :).

You're becoming a man that's hard to keep up with...the poems are great, the artwork great. No criticism here. :-)
As Hanna I think is saying ...Do I detect a bit of Nietzsche in these writings?

Take care Francis.

Thanks so much JD. I appreciate that, as I'm always equally impressed with your work. I'm cheating a bit by serializing my poems now :).

I haven't read Nietzsche since college (I won't tell you how long ago that was), so if his work influenced it, it was something deeply ingrained in my memory. Now I'll have to re-read him to find out.

Francis you are a never ending stream of poetry whose words touch the depth the human being as a whole. I am moved emotionally and intellectually.

Thanks so much Michelle ... I'm always touched by your writing and your support of mine. Oh, and it's a treat to finally see what you look like :).
