I was going for the snake in the grass type of coloring, and it's definitely has a twisted stem look. Honestly, I'm not fond of it though. The top portion of the drawing didn't resolve itself the way I wanted (maybe because I was wiped out when doing it), so that negativity came out in the title ("not"). Possible poem to follow.
JD, I formally accept your invitation :). Badge to be posted asap, and I'll blog about it soon. Many thanks to you and Mike for the honor! I've always been a huge fan of Poe, so I especially prize this.
You are most welcome my friend. It's nice to see the badge proudly displayed on the site of a truly gifted writer as yourself. Feel free to suggest anyone who you feel should belong to our society. Peace my friend...I'm truly exited to have you in with us. ~JD

Great Color - almost organic or horticulturish. Not?
