Flash fiction: Nook book

There's a tiny nook
behind her double bed
where she keeps small thoughts,
always written out with blue ink
on regular, lined notebook paper.

But the pad is nearly full,
and the nook can't fit another,
so she'll have to be content
re-thinking those same small thoughts
until the tiny gets bigger.

Giggles.... love the lively imagery. I find myself wanting to help her create more space in her nook. (Spoken by one who literally has file cabinets FILLED with Blue Lined Conversations...) tee hee hee hee

I like the imagery and wish the narrator luck finding space. I'll bet she could slide that used notebook under the mattress. ;)

@Jon Yes... I like my virtual notebook very much. Unlimited space, at least until I run out of it.

@Lynn Thanks for the invite. I'll take a look at the site. I'm trying to work on my fiction writing.

There is a sweet whimsical quality about this poem and I've noticed it in a lot of your work. You can't learn this, only a few have it, and that's one of the reasons why I like it.Chapeau!
