Oh the serendipity! Francis, you should check out and weigh in on the Flowers of Sulfur discussion in the comments section of Megan's last post. You won't believe the timeliness of this post re: that discussion.
This reminds me a bit of some of Blade of Grass Jon's poetry. I like this a lot. I could feel the dropping and even the thud before the shatter.
