Mimicking the crow

Gleaming gold nib pokes
out from shadow-clutched fingers
mimicking the crow

Dedicated to the inimitable Human Being

thanks a lot, Francis...
this is for you from the crow:

===================================

crow is the shadow of a shadow
all shadows have hearts that glow

crow is the heart of a hearth
all hearts have a dream sweet and mellow

===================================

The happy reaction was all the gift this sparkly poet needed to get back from you, but I'm honored to accept the sweet and mellow lines above too :).

and the selfish crow comes to this one again... to watch the shadow-clutched fingers...
:)

at the end of folk tales in Persian... there is a refrain:

our story came to an end
(but)
the crow didn't get to its home

In the tale I'll write, a home will find the crow :).
