Two eyes, conclusion

By Francis Scudellari

III.
Two eyes, a-part
Wholly transfixed, wander
Lost each, other
Focused a-head, seeing past.
One peers back, clocks
Months, days, hours: surfaced since.
One future grasps
Loosely imagined next.
A thin their links
Both, present over-looked.

Thanks JD. A friend has been pushing me to send a few in to The Sun magazine, so it's on my to-do list. I could use some extra income, so it may happen this week.

I hope the blog break is treating you well. If you ever want to communicate outside comments, please feel free to drop me a line at franscud at gmail.

Hey Francis, just wanted to let you know that I started a new writing prompt site, if you are interested in checking it out.

Jane's Inspirations

clicka un occhio e ti appare una stella danzante,
clicka altro occhio; e sei avanti, avanti...
dopo Kant e Nietzsche..
Può essere una persona con due occhi così?!

Hi Jane,

I have checked it out, and will probably participate in the Random Beauty theme, as I think the poem I'm currently working on will fit nicely.

Ciao Hanna,

By imagining such a person, I think we will him/her to be :).

Indeed just do it. There is no need to procrastinate.

Thanks Cooper. You're right, of course. I'll put a few in the mail tomorrow.
