Squiggly dust

Eye finger-pried wide
he awaits sky's drop, to cleanse
aged film's squiggly dust

Hm. Just one eye? Inneresting. I love the rhymes in this one.

What if you really really like the squiggles?

lovely! use of imagery & metaphor!
is this from the anthology you have just published?

@Twitches It's like cataract surgery, one eye at a time :).

@Brenda They can be mesmerizing, and the rain drop probably brings its own set of squiggles.

@Smita No, these short pieces are just my way of keeping the metaphorical pen limber.

ah... a wish... or a fish? :D

for the change of perspective... for a new viewpoint... a new understanding!

this reminds me of Sohrab Sepehri:

we should wash the eyes
we should see differently

we should wash the words
...

we should close our umbrellas
and walk in the rain

i loved the multiple image you created...

eye eyedrop
eye rain
eye tear

change....

transformation

fabulous work!
