Ever is not Never

Ever, lost before and unhappily
on about it still, finds himself
stuck anew in the swampy
cliché of greener pastures.

At least Ever is not Never,
she waits heartless and alone
back home in their regretfully cool,
air-condition blue compartment.

the atomsphere you paint at the end of the poem is really cooooold.... i can feel it...

to get rid of 'cliché of greener pastures', one should NEVER think of EVER...

Brilliant, I really like this. And I agree with human being the cold at the end is felt...

@hb But should one ever think of never? :). Never is a very cold place indeed.

@Scrybe For me Ever is life with its foibles and Never is death with its finality, so that may be where the coldness comes from.

Thanks to you both. Your comments and work are very inspirational to me.

.

when cold
we think of the sun more
so it's not a bad idea
to think of never
if we want to get rid of the 'cliché of greener pastures'
forever

as you know
paradise is a bore...

.

:)
thank you too... for being there... painting the world with a new brush...
