Curl

This blushed sun will blaze
unfazed by whether
timid leaves unfurl
or my waking toes
curl up to greet her

Nice, especially your use of the word 'whether'. And I'm liking the spot of decorating you've done :)

ahhh... i always feel doubt is ice... and when it melts, we can decide... and then a torrential river flows... lots of energy is trapped in doubt...

think your amazing poem has got the same image hidden in it...

loved the image of waking TOES curling up to greet... so cute!

@PS Thanks

@HB Yes, I'm trying to take inspiration from the sun, which lets its warmth flow out whether or not anyone wants to receive it. Doubt is often tied up with the expectation of how others receive us.
