Dona Nobis Pacem ... a day late

Yesterday was the Blog Blast for Peace, which I missed despite my best intentions to participate. Inspired by Mimi, the originator of the Dona Nobis Pacem (Grant Us Peace) globes, November 6th was a day in which the desire for peace rippled through the blogosphere.

Never one to let the calendar stand in the way of a good idea, a day late I'm posting this original drawing I did to commemorate the occasion. I call it Terraforming Peace.

What an incredibly moving peace globe with an original piece of art. I am so impressed and thrilled!
This will fly proudly in the Peace Globe Gallery.

Thank you so much for participating. I could care less that it's late. I have only gotten through the first half of the posts! (need more coffee...)

Peace to you and yours,
Mimi

That is a nice peace of work.

I sadly have not had time to kee up with anything. School keeps me pretty busy and work and so on. We all have good intentions but sometimes lie gets in the way.

It looks like a seed of the world. I really like that one. :)

I missed it too. I wasn't expecting to be offline most of this week.

I love the blueness of it. You always know how to play with the blue colors splendidly. Kudos!

BTW Francis,

Can I use your drawing if I ever compose an article about peace? Thanks so much.

Happy blogging.

@Mimi I'm thrilled you like it so much, and happy to be featured in the gallery. Thanks for organizing this.

@Michelle I agree ... peace is always welcome. Best wishes to you too.

@Patty Right back at you :).

@Cooper I think you do plenty, so no worries about life getting in the way. I'm just now feeling like I've caught up, so that means I'll get hit with something unexpected :).

@Laura We do get pretty dependent on technology to work, so it can be pretty frustrating when it doesn't. You can still pitch in a drawing. Based on the comments above, everyone would be thrilled to see it :).

@Jena You're always welcome to use any of my drawings you'd like to.
