Although that's not exactly what I was going for, it's in keeping with the deep-sea themed poem that I just posted to go along with it. Honestly, I deconstructed the original image so thoroughly it's no longer recognizable.
Well, truth be told it started out being the bottom half of a face ... nose and mouth. Then it did become crustacean like, which fit the nautical theme of the poem.

How long does it take you to complete one of these drawings? I'm amazed at how many you've done.

It varies. I'd say, on average, about 3 or 4 hours. When I struggle with one, it can take twice that.
