Chicago's Southside Irish Parade

In my many years in Chicago, I'd never made the long trek down to Beverly to see the Southside Irish Parade. I'm a northsider, so that's been a ready excuse -- but you know the old saying about everyone having one.

Anyway, I'm quite glad I finally got to experience it first hand. It's something everyone in Chicago should do at least once. Below are a few shots I took of the pageantry. I've got many more in a Picasa web album, which you can view via the link below.
