lovely. echos of buck mulligan. think "eying" should be "eyeing", but why quibble?
Hi Gerry,That's an interesting comparison, I'll have to take another gander at Joyce and revisit Buck. I actually had "eyeing" but my spell check flags it. Looking it up in the dictionary, it seems that both are correct.
