Quarter moon's sad gaze tilting blue toward the sea, a too-distant love whose foamy caps leap, aching to console her waxing loss

Your words make the silence the beautiful, enable me to enjoy even low page rank of my newest blog - I recognized sad gaze of the moon in the current rating of my blog and that identification directed me to the eternities.
I enjoy imagery of the moon: especially as her open face seems to invite speculations of love.
I couldn't help but share with you this poem I wrote on June 21, 2006, speculating about the beginning of summer:
June 21 (poem from '06) At this point in the Description of its ellipse The Earth cocks its head At the Sun Rakish and somewhat Debonaire. An airless Moon cannot Help but tsk, tsk...
But the Earth wouldn't care Just this moment. Up near its bald spot, The Sun now nearly always Touches. And light warms the Waters of Earth's face, Which is not a place Upon the planet But instead the space That some call summer.
I look forward to reading more of your blog. I found a link to it from Jenny's Cinnamon.

Nice Blog,
I enjoy imagery of the moon: especially as her open face seems to invite speculations of love.

June 21 (poem from '06)
At this point in the
Description of its ellipse
The Earth cocks its head
At the Sun
Rakish and somewhat
Debonaire.
An airless Moon cannot
Help but tsk, tsk...
But the Earth wouldn't care
Just this moment.
Up near its bald spot,
The Sun now nearly always
Touches.
And light warms the
Waters of Earth's face,
Which is not a place
Upon the planet
But instead the space
That some call summer.

@Tomas Thanks so much. Good writing shapes the silence.
@Andy I like the poem very much. Thanks for sharing it here. I'm glad you stopped by, and I look forward to reading more of your writing too.
