Doodle Week: Garden variety

It's Doodle Week Day 3 and the theme today is Doodle Garden. This is a genetically modified, fruity vegetable hybrid. It's designed to withstand all Doodle Bug infestations. It may not taste very good, but it ships great.

Excellent doodling! Very abstract, which I like. In light of last night's baseball, can I call this an Uggla(tm) fruit? Sort of like Ugli(tm) fruit, but there's error's all over it.

*errors. Lack of sleep makes me spelling and grammatically challenged.

@RedBeard I missed most of the game, but I heard about Uggla's ugly play. Making an error on the word errors is very fitting :). I can empathize with the lack of sleep situation.

@JH and MM All garden variety objects are made more special during doodle week :).

It's a twisty tomato!

(Am testing OpenID for SezWho purposes, if my name looks weird)

I like it! I would frame that for kitchen / dining room art. I like that it is non-specific, but the colors are great, appetizing!

I like this! I like this!
But when did I not like something you've drawn? (smiles) It looks delicious...and can be reproduced and placed as a kitchen decor, with proper attribution to you of course.

May I have your permission?

It is superb! Thanks for sharing.

I've seen the doodle bugs out there. It's a good thing it's engineered to withstand those critters. And who'd want to eat it anyway. It's too pretty, in it's genetically modified way.

Happy doodling!

@Catherine I think it's a cross between a tomato and a pepper. I need to take a look at SezWho ... once I get a spare moment :).

@Plotdog Thanks. It's just a page in a sketchbook right now. One day maybe I'll recreate it as a painting. Or make prints ...

@Jena You (and everyone else) are certainly welcome to reproduce it for personal use. I'd consider it quite an honor to have it hung on someone's walls :).

@Haley Those doodle bugs can be quite voracious :). Happy doodling to you too!

Wow.
I hereby admit defeat.
Your doodles are WAY better than mine.
Waaaaay better. :)

On the bright side, though, mine have humorous captions at the bottom.
Hopefully that can be my saving grace. :)

It kind of looks like a tomato and a pepper and maybe apples even. I don't know. But I do like it a lot. Love the vines and the colors.

If it doesn't taste good don't ship it! :P

Looks kind of like a pre-peeled 'mater.

@Elise I definitely see apple, tomato and pepper in the mix. I think the colors may attract some rabbits and other wild life.

@Shearyadi Thanks! Now I need some doodle servants :).

@Laura It's a decorative tomato not meant for eating :).

@Luka&Ezri Pre-peeled is a good idea. I could market that to folks who don't like the skin.

Hi Anmari,
Thanks. I was originally modeling it on red/yellow/orange bell peppers. Then I got a little carried away as usual :).
