I had to look that quote up. I've read a lot of Shakespeare, but never the Merry Wives of Windsor.
The strange truth is this was inspired by a moment in Vertigo where Kim Novak is sitting down to dinner with Jimmy Stewart. She's so well-lit the rest of the room seems like a flat and phony back-drop.
I couldn't find that scene on you tube.Could you direct me to it.
'Vertigo' is supposed to be the best psychological thriller ever made. I have not seen it.
A domani then...God, I hope I'm not turning into a 'Vertigo' character. I'd hate to form an unhealthy attachment to you Francesco:)You'll let me know, wont you.
I don't know if I can find it on YouTube, but I'll look. Jimmy Stewart is very creepy in the movie. It's my favorite Hitchcock film. You should definitely watch it. If you ever try to dress me up in the clothes of a former lover, then we'll know you've crossed the line :).
