When the top turves


When the one spared treetop does turve
its cherished Cheshire won't perish
but the once persisting smile will

francis, finally i get time to read some good text...and with it an interesting illustration as well...i haven't wrapped my brain around that yet..
how important is that word 'once' before that distant image of a persisting smile...hard to get...impossible to keep....it makes it what it is....'once'...
