Squeezing The Toothpaste

Continuing my very recent series of comment-inspired posts (see Interactive Exercise and A cryptic script: My answered exercise), today I riff on the title Squeezing the Toothpaste suggested by Mark at neOnbubble.

It's an unusual phrase to build a poem around, so I decided to try something different and write a haiku. As an extra bonus, I also created a companion drawing that better captures my conception of a squeezed tube of paste.

A coiled plastic snake
Desperately squeezed till flat
Splatters its venom

It's very cool (I mean the drawing, but of course, the haiku is too). :)

Awesome!!! extremely creative. I didn't know one could come up with an artistic venture with a toothpaste (grins) and even with a haiku too.

Hai!!!

Very nice, indeed worth a Digg.

@Chuck That's the highest compliment you could give :).

@2WriteHands I definitely spent much more time on the drawing than the haiku, but I liked how both turned out.

@Jena The world is my sandbox :).

@Cooper Mission accomplished then :).

@Guy Diggs are much appreciated.

Must be flavored toothpaste maybe blackberry, because it has a nice purple color. Kids would like it.

Who would have thought that toothpaste could be beautiful?

@BC I'd like some blackberry flavored toothpaste too :).

@Amanda There is much beauty hidden in the commonplace. We just need to rediscover it :).

Probably a silly question....

do you sell prints? or originals?

Or no?

@Ruthie Not a silly question at all. I've given away a few originals to friends and family. I'd love to make prints at some point, and I would be willing to sell the originals as well under the right circumstances. Once I get my domain up and going, I'll spend some time investigating next steps.
