They say.
They said. They
said, “It gets
easier.” It does get.
It got?
It got
to the point it gets,
and then it gets
what it’s not.
What it got
is, and it isn’t that
it’s easier. It’s that
it isn’t that. It’s this
now. It got, and it’s
getting
but what it’s getting
to be is an else.
Some thing, not itself,
and not what they
said, or say.

It never gets easier. What they mean is that it is so excruciating that if you survive it, you will be so pleased to be alive that you will eventually forget about it and will remember not to do it again except you will forget.

What they mean to say is that if you suvive the excruciating pain you will be happy to be alive and that will feel easier than be impaled with thousand arrows like St Sebastian.
