@Susan I may have... I have strange powers :). Actually it was very loosely based on real experiences. Saw ant and bird swarms, and my sister had a bee swarm. I threw in the toads for affect.
@koe Thanks... it was written very quickly, literally in a few minutes so that feel is pretty authentic :).
@Poem I will check out your site.
@Jena I liked leaving the ending open like that. Just a sense that something is going on, but not sure what. Omens or warnings... perhaps
@Zorlone It probably could have used some more development, but I thought the simplicity was a nice change of pace form my usual stuff.
This post reminds me of my dad's problem about his honeybees swarming. The other day he found his colony on an out-of-reach tree branch within our neighbor's territory. Anyway, you are very talented and very creative. I enjoyed your blog!
@Sashindoubutsu That's exactly what happened to my sister. Some bees had suffered a colony collapse and they swarmed into one of her trees as they looked for a new queen. I'm glad you like the blog. I like yours too, and will add it to my reader.

I think you yanked that out of my brain, Francis.

a poem that arouses the curiosity . Why would there be swarms of these creatures? because??? and these are all in one's thoughts?
What is not right? I guess there would be a next paragraph.
Way to go!
Very creative... I would have wanted to ask for more, but that is what makes this poem work for me. hehehe..
